I strongly suggest you read these books! the films are ok but the books are an excellent read and very well constructed. I only picked the first one up by chance because I took it on holiday for my wife to read so she'd leave me in peace to read the books I'd taken!
I've got two days holiday booked to coincide with the release of Deathly Hallows so I can finish it in one go and before I hear how it ends

It would take me from now to Wizard World opening in 2010 to read them. Been trying to read Chris Moyles Autobiography since Xmas, read about 40 pages so far.
