Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey wait times last November....

Oh boy....

Anybody know what the wait times were like at HPFJ last November - say Nov 5 - 20 (before the week of Thanksgiving)?

What about the park crowd levels for both parks at this time?

Are you staying onsite or off? Because getting in an hour early makes all the difference in the world.

Hi

We went last year 8th - 22nd, staying off-site and the crowds at both parks were minimal, especially the studios.

We went to Islands of Adventure 3 times and we managed to ride FJ at least 8 times! The highest queue i saw was on the 20th(sunday before thanksgiving) but it was still only 45mins max.

When we went on the 11/9 the highest queue was 15 mins so it was great being able to ride several times!

Yeah, we were there last year during that time frame, and FJ was 10-15 minutes every time we were near it. Hippogriff was literally walk on to 5 minutes, Dragons was 15, you could even get into the wand shop! It was by far the MOST relaxing trip to IOA we have done to date. We found that most rides in both parks were very short lines. The exception was RRR, but that likely had more to do with the fact that it kept going down.

we were there same time last year and it was so great we are going the same time again this year. weather was gorgeous and we swam every day. we stayed at portofino and basically had the pools to ourselves. we went to forbidden journey every day between 8:30 am and 9 and never waited longer than 10 minutes and rode it a bunch of times. even without the express pass, we never saw lines for simpsons in early afternoon. enjoy!
