is one of the few actors that no matter what movie or role he does I like it. There are a lot of great actors, but normaly they have a movie or role that I don't care for, but I really can't think of any Harrison Ford movies or roles that I don't like.
So I guess the question is, which is your favorite Harrison Ford movie or roll?
Mine would probably be a toss up between three:

Indiana Jones
Han Solo
and Jack Ryan

But I would probably give the nod toward Indiana Jones.

I did like him in Witness, Capt. John Book.

"Dr. Jones, you listen me you live longer!"

OP... Did you like "Frisco Kid"? :rolleyes1

Han Solo, definitely.:cool2:

This wasnt really your question but I feel the same way about Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman, I love to watch anyhting there in.

Gene Hackman does have a lot of great roles, but I can also think of a few not so great (Superman for example). I do agree about Morgan Freeman though, he is another incredible actor that seems to excell in whatever role he takes on. I really like his portrayel of Alex Cross.

Han Solo and Regarding Henry are my favorite role and movie in that order

Blade Runner!

MIkeeee

He was SOOOO good in Hanover Street.

I agree, Mosquito Coast was awful. I also did not like Blade Runner.

All of the above! I heard a funny story. He had fallen asleep in the car and the police came and got Calista Flockhardt and told her that a "homeless man had fallen asleep in her car". Its a good thing he cleans up nice! ;) He actually is a licensed helicoptor pilot and has flown rescue missions. One young man who had been lost in the wilderness recalls being rescued and absolutely shocked when he looked over and saw Harrison Ford piloting the chopper!

Gene Hackman does have a lot of great roles, but I can also think of a few not so great (Superman for example). I do agree about Morgan Freeman though, he is another incredible actor that seems to excell in whatever role he takes on. I really like his portrayel of Alex Cross.

Yeah, I agree with his excellent portrayal of Alex Cross. I have read all of James Patterson's books involving Alex Cross and I had quite a different picture of what Alex would look like...I was thinking more like Denzel Washington. When I saw that Freeman was going to be Alex Cross, I had my doubts:confused3 but he did an awesome job:)

Forgot to add, I LOVED Harrison Ford in Six Days and Seven nights....it was nice to see his comedic side...I love that movie

I love Harrison Ford too. I definitely think Indy was his best character. Jack Ryan was good, but kind of dorky. Indy was way cooler and sexier.

Agree about Six Days Seven Nights, although it got bad reviews I found it cute and amusing, and as mentioned a different role for him. All time favorites though are Indiana Jones and Han Solo!

My favorite Harrison Ford story is this. Don't know if it's true or not, but I liked it.:

Apparently as a young actor, he had trouble getting roles and often didn't endear himself to directors or studio heads with his attitude.

One film person, don't recall whether it was a director or what, was trying to instruct him in the art of acting and showed him a film of Tony Curtis playing a delivery boy. The instructor said that when Tony Curtis came onscreen, everyone looked at him and said "Now, there is a movie star."

Harrison Ford replied, "I thought everyone was supposed to look at him and say 'Now, there is a delivery boy.'"

Indiana Jones-

p.s. I liked the Mosquito Coast!:duck:
