HARP refinance

Has anyone here done a HARP refinance? If so, what were your closing costs, if you don't mind sharing. and how complicated was your process? My sister is doing one and we are looking into doing one. we are both with different mortgage companies and her closing costs are significantly less than ours and her process seems simplier than ours. I thought since this was a gov't program, it would be the same across the board? so I thought I would ask here for others experiences. thanks for anyones input...

The costs will differ depending on the mortgage company. Also, the guidelines and requirements differ depending on who owns your mortgage now (i.e. Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae) They are typically easier than a regular refinance. Check with your mortgage company and they should be able to tell you what would be involved & how much it would cost.
