My 2 year old just did this at a school book fair. No line, and a small room, but she darted through the crowds, squeezing between legs, while I followed as fast as I could, politely saying, excuse me, excuse me.Mrs. Squirrel said:My attitude about them changed the day my then 16 mo. old son broke away from me while waiting in a roped, snaking shopping line (sound like Disney?) and was a good 30 feet away from me before I could even get past the family behind me. Marshall Faulk and Edgerin James had nothing on DS as he ducked and twisted through the see of legs, purses, strollers, and shopping carts with lightning speed! I could not imagine tackling Disney fearing that!
She wasn't in any danger, but it sure was tough to keep track of her!
We have a harness. We've used it. People can give me all the dirty looks and mean comments they want.
i never let her wander from me it was for just in case shes very good at holding my hand and walking next to me! but god forbid something caught her eye or we got bumped apart! i think that would give me a heart attack!!
