Harmony Barbershop photos

Hi All,

After a bit of trying, we were finally able to schedule our son for his first haircut while at DisneyWorld. My question is this: Are there photopass photographers at Harmony Barbershop?

You will want to arrive about 20 minutes early and let the person at the check in counter know you'd like to have a photopass photographer present. They will then do their best to make sure they have someone there. We had no problems and had a great stylist and photographer!

I had no idea you could do that! Both of my boys loved their first hair cuts and we even went back for a hair cut the last time.

There weren't any photopass photographers when we went there, and to be honest, there really wasn't any room. It is a small area, and if every chair is filled and has family watching, they may not allow a photographer. But you can ask.

Just connected with a friend who happens to be a photographer for Disney. . . here is her response: if you let them know, they will do their best to have one there. It's a special roving position, so if they know when & where, they have the flexibility to be there.

She recommended I call now just to be safe. The official response was exactly as LuvinDisney said, show up early and they will call one.

Our friend is going to see if she can work some magic and help make it happen. Pays to have connection.

Wow! After reading this, I realize now that we had some pixie dust sprinkled on us. There was a photo pass photographer there when we got our son's first haircut. They are amazing photos...probably the best of the trip and even made our Christmas card that year! I sure hope a photographer shows up while you are there, OP! The photos will be priceless!

We actually found a photographer on Main Street that didn't have a line and asked her to come over to the Barbershop and take pictures. She was awesome. I know it may not be easy to do but if you can find one that is not busy they seem more than happy to take pictures there.

We did as recommended here and requested the photographer when we checked in. He arrived about the time my son was getting started. The others in at the same time wanted pics of theirs kids too and he did those.

Our son's first haircut coincided with the 3PM parade. We grabbed the photographer after the end of that event. He was very gracious.
