I did it with my then 9.5 month old (now 4.5 yrs) and it was totally worth it. I was so sad that I couldn't do it for my 23 month old. It actually caused me anguish and some guilt that he couldn't have his first haircut at Disney like his older brother, but we haven't gone back (going in June). He's had his hair cut twice. I still may book the first haircut for him for June anyway!

We're taking our 2 year old for his first cut in June! At the same time I got an appointment for my older two (5) who will either get some pixie dust/fun do or a little trim. Seems we can use the appointment we have booked for whatever we want.

On the phone call where I made the appointment I also paid for my memory maker. The CM said to be sure to request a photopass photographer when we arrived for our appointment and they'd have pics taken for us of the experience.

I don't think I've ever heard anything negative about DS's hair...maybe just strangers thinking he is a girl. But we love his hair. DH just wants to get a little trim and not a major cut for him.

DD18 yes i did say 18 will be getting her back to school or in her case now on to life haircut! They are brilliant there has been an occasional muck up but we go back and they beautifully fix it I think it is a matter of experience and fortunately they are extremely gracious.

I love the barber shop. even as an adult it was magical, and the cm's there were great, and really patient with all the kids that were there. Hope you go and enjoy!

My dd(2.5) will be getting her first haircut there in two weeks...I can hardly wait!

My granddaughter got her first haircut there. She was seven, but she got the certificate and ears. For a number of years she got a haircut each time we visited Disney.
