Hardcore Music.

Hey there, I'm Joe. I just joined this forum.

Anyway. I was just wondering what's the opinion on "hardcore" music here. I'm talking about vocals including screaming for the most part. Personally I love it. It's one of the most popular genres of music these days, at least where I'm from. So just tell me if you hate it, love it, have mixed feelings. If you are familiar with the genre then feel free to list any bands you like, and if you never gave it a shot you might find something you like from it after exposing yourself to few different bands.

Some of my favorite bands are : Attack! Attack! (If you can't tell lol), Sky Eats Airplane, The Devil Wears Prada, I Set My Friends On Fire, and Alesana.

I'm not really into hardcore music, but when I work out I listen to bands like All That Remains, Slipknot and BFMV

Hey I'm Joe too lol. I like hardcore music and the screaming element, although some bands either overuse screaming or just have bad screamers. I can't stand hearing a bad screamer even if they may be a good singer.

I'm into some of it. For instance I like Attack Attack but not so much the devil wears prada. But I do enjoy some everytime i die.

I love hardcore music! I love Underoath, Atreyu, Alexisonfire, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, stuff like that

My sisters like listening to it, but I despise it. It gives me headaches...

Worst part is that my sisters like to play the songs as loud as possible, whilst I try to watch TV, and never turn it down, no matter what...

I'm more into post-hardcore myself as well. I agree about Underoath, they are good.

That was pretty good, I liked the last minute of it. I went to one of drop dead's concerts and they were awesome live. Their vocalist looked like a homeless man though

Those are really the only two that I like...

Wow! Great taste! My favorite is Alesana and Silverstein..but I like most of those bands.. anyone heard of Punk goes _____?? Devil wears prada does a good cover for Punk goes crunk, but my favorties are Punk goes Pop!

I own Punk Goes Crunk though, I bought it only because I loved ATL at the time...
