hard to find characters

The past two summers that we have visited Walt Disney World My two children have been on a quest to get autographs and pictures with as many Disney characters as possible. This time we found princesses at Cinderella breakfast and Mickey, Minnie and Goofy in almost every park,and Pooh and friends in all 4 parks. But where can you find the unusual characters like the ones from Pocahontas, Hercules and Beauty and the Beast. I know they are at the shows in the parks but where can you find them for pictures??

We saw both Pocahontas and Hercules from the character bus in Epcot. In Animal Kingdom, go see the Pocahontas show (really geared towards younger kids, I think) and hang around for a few minutes after the show until some people clear out. Ask a cast member, and you can get her autograph then (my kids did). We've never seen Sleeping Beauty - we were there for 10 days last year and she wasn't there at all during that time. In the morning, tell a cast member who you would like to see, in particular, and ask them to use the special phones to find out. They can call some central place and they can let you know where certain characters are or will be.

Now I'm just a dumb old dad but isn't Princess Aurora (who is regularly at the Cinderella's Castle breakfast) Sleeping Beauty? I may have to go back to the VCR and check this out!!

You are right, Princess Aurora is Sleeping Beauty. However, we still did not see her. We went to Cindy's breakfast but she was not there. My daughters were told that she wasn't at the breakfast because she was very tired and she was still sleeping.

Not too many of the characters you want to see ae on it, however, pay CLOSE attention to the random character locations listed on there at MGM- I have seen every character you're looking for there at one time or another.

We saw Cruella DeVille, Alice, Mary Poppins, Green soldiers from Toy Story at MGM. Tarzan at AK. Captain Hook, Peter Pan at MK. Aladdin & Jasmine at Epcot. We've also seen Dwarfs at epcot along with Snow White, Belle and Beast, mice from Cinderella, and Hunch back characters there too.

Okay I'm so not knowing the name of the character meeting place in MK
It's right in front of the pooh ride. They have different characters there throughout the day
I'm not sure where you get the time & schedule but when we were there my daughter got meeko's autograph there.

Also Belle was telling stories right by dumbo

We just got back on 10/6. There was a higher character presence than on any of other trips. We even saw Kermit.

yes- starting on the 23rd of September a lot of new character locations went into effect. I'm a bit surprised that you only saw Kermit though- Piggy has been out lately too.

I almost forgot the kids favorite.

We say Chewbacca inside Star Tours in line for the ride. He was cool. However, like the Beast, his is not able to 'sign' the autograph book so we took pictures.

Just returned oct 7thb and we saw lots of characters. MGM has several meet and greet around the hat. When we are looking for a specific character we usually go to guest relations and they tell us when and where. good luck
