Hard Time Deciding On Resort #2

We are going in July 08 and I promised my DS5 that we would stay at ASMo for the first 2 nights and then since I am getting the Platinum Dining package, I am deciding on a Deluxe Resort. I initially had picked out AKL, however, I have ready that although it IS beautiful, and the animals are there, it's far away from everything else. I only plan on purchasing a standard room so a Savanna view is not really an option for me. What do you guys think? Should I keep my thoughts to AKL or is there another place that's just as wonderful to stay without being so far away from everything??

I would pick the WL....

nice boat to M.K and boat to contemporary for monorail...

If you're going for pricing along the lines of the AKL, I'd suggest the WL. Nice boat transportation there to the MK and beautiful landscaping.

I recently got back from the AKL and while it is beautiful it is so far away from everything. With the platinum dining I'd stick with a resort closer to everything.

WL is looking pretty darn good. I like all of the extra amenities that they have. Jogging trails, bike rentals, beach!! Love it. Thanks for the help! And the price is the EXACT same as AKL.

We prffer the WL over AKL.

Same look and feal, but much closer to all the action. The savanah room views are nice, but get old and give you the "been there, done that feal" on about the 3rd day.

We have been back to WL 3 times, my 6yo loves the pool, it is the most relaxing of the resorts we have stayed in.

I would pick BC. We love it there! The resort is awesome, it's super close to Epcot and DHS, has many restaurant options, and has SAB that your DS5 will love. The entertainment in the evenings at the BW is fun to see too and he might like to see the guy with the ladder.

If you like the AKL then stay there. Its not in the middle of the action, but its right there on WDW property, not China.

how about a garden wing room at the CR? The rooms there are HUGE!!! And I don't think you can beat the right on the monorail location!
