Hard Ticket Entry vs Hopper

We are going to MVMCP this year. Some of us will have an AP, but others will have a hopper plus the tickets I purchased for them with my DVC discount.

On the day we are going to the party, some of our group will be using their MVMCP ticket only to get in and will not have a hopper for that day. How do they enter the park and ensure that a day is not used from their hopper and it is only the MVMCP ticket that is used?

There are separate lines at the turnstiles to go to the party - just make sure you follow the signs. They scan you in and give you a wrist band.

What PP said - there is a separate tapstile for party entrance. We've gone the last 2 years and did not have to do anything special to ensure they used the party ticket for entry instead of our regular park tickets, and we always chose a party date in the middle of our trip.
