We are thinking of staying at that Hard Rock Hotel for 1 night. How does the FOL pass you get when you stay work. Would it be from the time you acheck in and out or for the two days???
Should have posted this a while ago but have been busy!
Any help/advice would be great!!:lovestruc

we plan to do the same on our next trip.
someone asked similar questions recently and the advice given was.

you could check in on the morning of your stay-obviously your room wouldnt be ready. you could leave your bags there and youd get a FOL pass that you could use that day.
so you get 2 days FOL passes but i assume thats only if you check in before going to the park on the 1st day. :)

Im sure lots of others will reply with more educated answers, i'll be following closely to see the replies you get :goodvibes

when you get back youll have to let us know how you got on :thumbsup2

:)Thanks for that i will let you know when i return!!!
If anyone else can confirm this i will book!!!:)

If you stay one night you will have 2 days FOTL x

Yes, that's exactly right. You can check in as early as you like on your first day and receive your room key cards. If your room isn't ready, you can leave your bags and call back later for your room number. In the meantime, you head off to the parks for your FOTL action. On your check-out day, your room key cards will be good for Express Line access until park closing. :thumbsup2

the trouble with the HRH is there is so much to do there, getting to the parks is hard;)
dive in movies in the evening are great, as is dining in the kitchen with scooby doo and shrek.
we loved it, hire a cabana if you want to push the boat out, for the after noon pool break, little bit of affordable luxury:lovestruc

Having done this last summer I can thoroughly recommend it. You can go to check in before park opening and get your room keys for each person in your party.
Then a short walk or taxi boat ride to the park gates before the masses arrive:)

Bag check is by the taxi boat driver.

When we went back to Universal without FOTL(front of the line) access we really noticed the difference.

Currently FOTL is unlimited so you can go on the same attraction a number of times. We did this so many times on Men in Black until we could take the stares of folk on the standby line no longer :rolleyes1

Express Pass is one time per attraction so the perk for hotel guests is really a great add-on :goodvibes

:banana:Cheers everyone looks like i will be booking this weekend:banana:

you won't regret it, great hotel and the FOTL saves sooo much time.

Remember if you book with universal and later you see that universal have a better rate you can swap to the new rate without charge (you need to do the checking of th rates as Univerisal will not automatically give you a better price).

Ive had a quick look at the restaurants and they look fab. :)

I saw this when i was looking up the info, i think its a fab perk. For us-with a wheelchair user, theres only certain rides we can do. It will make our visit much easier.
I just wish it was this August and not next :sad1:

Hope you have a fab time when you go Ariel :goodvibes

We are on the verge of booking too - FOTL really is the main reason we're planning to stay on site at Universal this August. Now we just have to make the decision between HRH and RPR.

With the New Harry Potter attraction i think it will pay for itself in park hours saved!!

I am not sure if HP will be in the FOTL program, RRR at Universal wasn't

I LOVED the hrh

t is and was the best
:love::love::love::love:
The fol passes were brilliant, I mean we rode things 3 times and still the folks that were at the front of other lines at the front.

HRH is my favourite hotel in the WHOLE world!!!:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc (and we have stayed in some beauties - but I just love it there - and I can highly recommend the buffet breakfast in The Kitchen - awesome!!):thumbsup2:thumbsup2
