We wanted RPR but it's not available for our dates. HRH is but I don't know anything about this. It's a little dearer, is it worth it? It is for 5 nights.
We have booked 4 nights in May but haven't been before. Everything I read states that HRH is a great hotel. Universal are doing 5 nights for 3 but also some on here have used flightnet (or is it net flight) and got some amazing prices
In total now stayed for 25 nights at this hotel and love it to bits especially in the summer when the pool area is like being at a party. It has the advantage of being very close to Universal compared to RPR. I recommend it without hesitation and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
We've stayed at both HRH and PBH and HRH is hands-down our favorite. The service is excellent, the rooms are nicely furnished and the location is unbeatable....but best of all is the swimming pool which has a truly electric atmosphere and is a great place to chill out for a few hours, especially if you have children.
We've stayed in some fabulous/top/expensive (delete as appropriate!!) hotels all over the States and my favourite ...... Hard Rock ........I can't speak highly enough about it !!!!
To put it another way - we absolutely love the Poly, but next year we are ending our holiday at Hard Rock (after a stay at the poly and a disney cruise) - because we like to save THE BEST for last!!!
We actually did complain about the music in July as we were just on the lobby floor, just a few doors up from the Hard Rock Shop and the music played all night which made getting to sleep hard. After being up 30 plus hours we really needed a good night's sleep but it was really bad. However, at 6 am we went and asked for our rooms to be changed. That wasn't a problem and the rest of our stay was just heavenly, I just adore their beds, so comfortable.
I love the music played there as most of the bands are ones I like and the DJ playing the music at the pool gave the place such a party atmosphere. It is my favourite hotel out of the two I have stayed in.
