Hard Rock Hotel & Express Pass/Park tix

Hi there!

My friend and I want to spend two full days at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We plan on checking in to a hotel Friday evening, visiting the parks on Saturday, Sunday and maybe some on Monday morning. We would be checking out of the hotel on Monday and hopefully leaving our baggage a bit while we go back to the airport.

Will our Express Pass & Park tickets be good for Saturday, Sunday AND Monday or just Saturday and Sunday?

Also, the packages on the universalorlandovacations.com site seem like the best deal in terms of booking the hotels with the park benefits, but does anyone know if there is a way to book those with AAA or some other kind of discount? I know AAA has park discounts but I can't figure out how to book the full vacation with a discount?

if you stay at one of the 3 deluxe hotels on site, you will receive the express pass for unlimited rides in the parks for the dates you are there.
this express pass will list your onsite hotel dates.
and, it is valid for usage on the day you check in and the day you check out of the hotel.


if you stay offsite or Cbay, you would need to purchase the express passes based on the parks and dates

the way you asked the question, i am not sure if you booked to stay at one of the deluxe hotels or did a package for the universal package.

i'm not sold on the packages.
yes, they will include your room and park tickets and you can buy the insurance for the trip.

everytime you make a change to your package, there will be a $50 penalty fee you have to pay.
you also have to have the package paid in full a certain number of days out from your visit.

book your room thru AAA and get a 10% discount if it is available for your dates.
it could be greater but you need to check it out on the AAA.com website or call UO reservations for the amount of AAA discounts they allow for your booked dates.
the smsm general public discount might require a 2 or 3 night stay.
(might depend on your dates of stay)
sometimes it will give you a 15% discount off of the room.

if you book a room at one of the deluxe hotels, you receive the hotel perks of early entry and unlimited usage of the express pass.
it does not matter how or with whom you book, as long as you stay at those hotels, it is a hotel perk for you.

3rd party vendors such as cheap tickets, orbitz will be cheaper than booking with other sites.
if you go thru ebates on those vendors, you do save some money.

tickets, check UO if they are still offering the buy 2 days, get the 3rd park ticket free.
UT and Mapleleaf are reliable ticket agents that sell tickets for many theme parks.

it is sent out on the 15th of each month with a link to direct you to the discounted section for ticket purchases.
