Hard Rock Cafe

Oh my gosh I think I'll win if there's a prize for visiting the most. My DD18 has been collecting the Tshirts for many years. I've been to:

San Francisco
San Diego
Los Angeles (@ Universal)
Lake Tahoe
Las Vegas Hotel
Minneapolis
Dallas
Nashville
New Orleans
Atlanta
Gatlinburg
Philadelphia
Chicago
Washington DC
NYC
Boston
Orlando (@ Universal)
Key West
Nassau
Toronto (both of them)
Niagara Falls
Montreal
Cozumel
Grand Caymen
St. Thomas
London
Paris
Copenhagen
Oslo Norway
Stockholm

I'm sure there are more. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. We must have thousands of $ of memorabilia!

We've only been to the one in Universal Orlando. We haven't beeen to the one here in Washington, D.C. It looks boring compared to the awesome one in Orlando. The one in D.C. just looks too dull. Its been "Washington'd".

The one in Orlando is nice! I especially like the room totally devoted to Beatles memorabilia. They even have the doors from Abbey Road Studios! I'm a huge Beatles fan, and my family had to practically drag me out of there.:lmao:

If you're a fan of The Who specifically, you might want to check out Wolfgang's Vault (www.wolfgangsvault.com). This site has tons of memorabilia for sale, and The Who is one of their featured bands. You can buy old concert T-shirts, tickets and posters, among other things.

Plus the concert section of the site has a couple of their Fillmore East shows from 1968 and 1969. The '68 concert is a bunch of familiar singles while the '69 concert it looks like they perform Tommy (the whole thing). These are audio only, but it's still pretty cool to listen to a concert from almost 40 years ago. The sound's usually pretty good too.

Well, didn't YOU just put a smile on my daughter's face.:lmao: She is now perusing the site you mentioned. Can I charge you for any and all Who stuff she wants to buy?

Seriously, thanks for the information.:)

Been to:

Minneajpolis
Destin, Fl
SF
Orlando

Of those stores, the Orlando one is the nicest.

(if you can't tell, all the angels are playing instruments)

We like to stop at a Hard Rock when we travel too, we try to get a glass from each one with the city name.

So far we've been to:
Orlando
Washington DC
Phoenix
San Diego
San Antonio
and DH has also been to:
Dallas
Indianapolis

A little OT, but has anyone who has been to the Washington DC one ever seen Ken? He is a very regular customer and there is even a pin made of him. Our waitress told us he has eaten lunch and dinner there everyday for something like 17 years! Now that's a devoted customer!

Am I the only one who has stayed at Hollywood, FL?

It's the only Hard Rock I've been to.

I was at the Orlando Hard Rock in 99 and they did have some Who stuff (not a huge collection). The only reason I remember is I am a DIE HARD WHO FAN...and have been since I was 14 or so.

I have been very sad since Sirius ended their Who channel. :sad1: But now I'll have to peruse Wolfgangs site...Have fun!

The one in Cancun was closed for renovation when we were there...guess I will just have to go back someday!
