Hello, Has anyone been to the Hard Rock in St Thomas? How far is it from the docks?
Thanks for any info

We were there last spring. We were able to walk there. I remember having to go up to the second level of a shopping area. We didn't eat there, just bought some pins and tshirts. Very nice lady took care of us there.

It is a long walk. Take a cab for a few dollars per person. You won't regret it. We have eaten there a few times (we were not on a cruise at the time), the last time being last April. It is a fun place as all Hard Rocks are, but it is nothing special. Nice view of the harbor (not where the cruise ships are though) from some of the tables.

I have to tell you, my family and I ate there when we were in St. Thomas and what a ripoff. Bad service and horrible prices. Not worth a penny of it.

I definitely suggest a taxi to save the walk (it was a bit of a hike) It is across from where the downtown Charlotte Amalie ferry docks. The food at the St. Thomas Hard Rock was some of the best we had ever had at a Hard Rock (and we had an awesome server too!)

Just like anywhere, your food and service depends on the day.

I ate at the Hard Rock when we stayed in St Thomas one vacation and we loved it. I know we culd see the cruise ships that were in dock from there but they didn't look all that close.

We were just on the 1/22 Eastern cruise and had to tender in St. Thomas. From the spot you get off the tender boats, it is only 2 or 3 blocks to you left (when your back is to the water). You could easily walk it.

On the other hand, where the other boats docked, it was quite a distance. That was about the only good thing with tendering, it dropped you right off in the middle of the shopping district.

OK, that's why I remember walking past it. We tendered in but didn't go very far on when we were on the island. I loved the market to the right of the tender dock! Can't wait to go there next time. :)
