Just looking for some experiences from those who have been to the Hard Rock in Nassau? Was it clean? We always stop at Hard Rocks on all of our trips, is this one worth going to? The one in St. Thomas back in January was pretty run down.

If we go to Atlantis is Hard Rock on the way or way back?

Thanks for anyone's help!!

7 days to go!!!!

When we went there last year, only the merchandise shop was open and not the restaurant. Its on a little side street right off the main drag in Nassau. Having never been to Atlantis I can't tell you if its on the way back or not. The shop was ok, rather small and reminded me a bit of the one in St. Thomas.

We were just there two weeks ago and it was closed for remodeling...sorry it didn't look to be opening any time soon...no walls, chairs, etc.

Oops...it was Planet Hollywood that was under refurbishment.

Closed, oh no!! I'll have to go and check the website to see if they have anything listed about the Hard Rock in Nassau being closed.

Thanks for the info, would've been really disappointed to went out of our way to get there and found it closed. The forecast for our Nassau stop (next Monday the 16th) shows 60% chance of thunderstorms. We need some pixie dust!!

Were in Nassua in October. We were planning on going to the Hard Rock Cafe but there is only the retail store open-and it is very small. The cafe is under construction.

Hi SC Minnie!

yes, as SC Minnie states, there was a small store but no Cafe, at least in October...

I just received an email from the manager of the Hard Rock in Nassau. He said the retail store is currently open for business and the restaurant is being built at this time and will be open for business next summer.

I got a email response to regarding the same information.

Thanks everyone for the info, it was worth the post!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! HRC was under construction at Nassau back in May of 2001 when we went on the Wonder!!! YIKES

I wonder if it will ever be finished.

A word for the wise for those of you who usually purchase clothing at the HRC. The Nassau merchandise was very "cheap", not in price but in quality. The "Heavy T" was awful! It was NOT a Heavy T at all, and has become VERY thin. I have quite a collection of HRC pins and my DH has the T's and hats. We have been visiting HRCs for many years now (about 13 years) and the one in Nassau had the worst quality merchandise we have ever seen.

Thanks Sue Ellen for the major tip on the merchandise. I'm surprised because I figured all the merchandise came from the same place. How disappointing though. My children collected like 5 pins just last year from the Hard Rocks and I'm not sure we will get back to Nassau since we get to go twice on our 4/3 day back to back starting in 5 DAYS!!!

If you are just getting pins, the pin quality is nice. It's the t-shirts and hats that were "cheap"
