Hard Rock and FOTL

I'm thinking of a couple of nights in the Hard Rock Hotel during our trip in October. I know i can get a discount using my AA card but are there any better discounts we can get ? I won't be booking until we're actually out there.

Also how does Front of the Line work ? Do you get special passes ? Is there a limit on how many times and when you can use them ? And do you need ID with them i.e. could someone else use my pass ?

Th AP and EE rates are usually better than the AA rates - check out the Universal Forums.

You use your hotel key card and enter the Express Line. When we were there in July they were limiting you to one ride per attraction before 3pm and then as often as you liked after that. Not sure whether this will continue, or whether it's just operational during the busier summer months. Shrek currently doesn't have an Express Line, but there <i>is</i> a resort guest line which is easily missed as it's not marked in any way. I mention this because the lines for this attraction are very long - often upwards of 75 minutes.

You don't need any ID - just the room key.
