Notice how there is no water left in the pot? Yeah. I left them there for an hour or so. I was busy planning our cruise and chatting.

Someone will have to pick up some eggs for my kids to dye.

At first, I thought that cracked egg contained a feathered chick (no joke). It's kind of blurry.

Do y'all not have plastic eggs in Egypt? It's almost impossible to overcook those.

Ewwww bomb. Guess you're having egg salad for lunch. Wait... it's probably dinner there, huh.

I am glad you caught them before they all exploded.

My mom put eggs on to boil one day and then left the house to take the dogs to the vet and visit an old neighbor. By the time she got home the smoke alarm was going off and her entire kitchen and dining room were covered in hard boiled eggs and the rest of the house smelled from the smoke and eggs.

Her insurance company paid for a cleaning crew to come to her house for 8 hours a day for 4 days to clean the mess. They washed every inch of her house top to bottom. I thought it was a great way to get an awesome spring cleaning for just the cost of the deductible:banana: .

What is that creature crawling out of the egg on the bottom:scared1:

:rotfl: I've done the exact same thing while DISing. I've burned more toast and pizza than I can count too.

Look on the bright side. :teeth:

At least they didn't explode and leave little egg bits all over the kitchen and burn the bottom of the pot to a crisp, like they did the time I left eggs on the stove while DISing. :rotfl:

I read the title of this thread wrong and thought it said... Hard-boiling eggs while at Disney.

I was all set to see another cooking in your room debate. popcorn:: :rotfl:

Was that nasty egg on the bottom from some sort of mutant chicken?

Oh, we always eat hard boiled eggs at WDW for breakfast. I use the toilet bowl. I must have saved over $25.

I just learned an easy, fool proof way of hardboiling from the food network,

Put the eggs in cold water and bring to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, turn off the heat and put a lid on. They're done after 10 minutes. That's it! No worrying :)

Yeah. I always do:

Put eggs in cold water.
When eggs come to a boil, cover and cook ONE minute.

Take off heat. 13 minutes later run under cold water.

Martha Stewart.;)

I've never had problems with this.

I even bout the PAAS kit a year ago because I didn't know if we'd have egg dying kits in Egypt.:rotfl:

I'm sending you an egg timer with a bell. :lmao:

Just tell your kids that the Egyptian Easter Bunny doesn't do eggs. ;)
