Okay, so it's been a while since I posted or even read the borads, but I need to vent just a bit, and since I don't have a Facebook, Twitter or any of them things, you guys are stuck with me ;-)
Just to recap, our last trip to WDW was last December 2011 (first week of December), with my gf, sister and parents. It was lots of fun, but very tireing. My parents don't speak much English, so my gf and I spent a week translating everything, ordering all the food, etc. Also, they're in their sixties, and my mom especially tires easily. Let's just say that by the end of the week, everyone was this close to saying things they would have regretted.
Now, I have one week's vacation left at work that I must take as soon as possible. My gf wants us to go spend a week at her parents in May (they live an 8-hour drive away); we alreay spent a week there during the Holidays, and we're going again for about a week during the Summer, so I said I'd pass. Of course, she had a fit, even more so when I said I might go to WDW for a solo trip (my first to WDW, and only my 2nd solo trip in our 10 years togheter, the last one being during our first year of going out together)... She's been trying to make me feel guilty about not wanting to go to her parents (which would be free and relaxing. Ha!), and instead spending another ±1,700$ to go to WDW so soon after our last trip.
Anyway, I just booked my trip this morning (May 10th to 16th), and I'm not feeling as happy as I should, because I do feel guilty, which sucks.
I just hope by the time May comes, she will have made peace with it all, and will let me go to WDW without making me feel super guilty on purpose, because if she does, then I will really have wasted 1,700$...
There, feels good to rant a bit, sorry about that.
