We just returned from our long vacation at WDW and very happy with the service that we received with TTC. We were a little nervous with some of the BB reports that we had been hearing, but decided to keep our reservation. We had used both TTC and FTC in the past with no problems.

The Driver was waiting for us at baggage claim and made a store stop for us on the way (we requested when making the reservation). I believe the store chain was Cash and Carry or something like that. On our departure day a driver was waiting for us at our resort and got us to the airport quickly.

Very Satified and would recommend

I am glad to here you had a good experience with TTC. I have a feeling TTC was contracing with other companies due to they were very busy this summer. Right now they are slow and they need the business and they are prob not contracting out.

We are still staying using TTC this January and I am so pleased to hear you had a great experience with them. By the way who was your driver?

I'm glad to hear that you had such a positive experience with TTC. I've used them a few times in the past, and have no complaints about them. I'll be using them again at DIS CON, and can't wait! :)

In all fairness, all transportation services contract out their work nobody ownes that many cars not even mears. They to contract out or lease (same thing). You can only keep tabs on your contracts or leases and must check on them regular since they represnt you, and thats the difference. FOR YOUR INFORMATION

I just got back this weekend from DisneyWorld and used TTC. Their cars are very nice and the drivers are very professional. I had a couple of problems though. My flight was 5 or 10 minutes early, so when I got to baggage claim I did not see the driver. (he had gone to get a drink of water because he was not expecting me). I got my bag and tried my cell phone to call and see where he was. The connection was bad so I had to go to the pay phone (luckly it was only 10 feet away). I then called them and they told me he was there and where to find him. I found him ok, and he took my one piece of rolling luggage. However, he left me holding my car seat for my son, while I was pushing my son in his stroller. I think he should have taken the car seat too. (next time I will tell a driver to take my other bag - bug I shouldn't have to ask).

On the way back, I called the day before to confirm. That morning I was at the outside of my hotel (the Polynesian at least 20 minutes before hand) when pickup time arrived, I told the hotel bell man that I was concerned. He said they usually show up at least 20 minutes prior. So I called TTC again and they said he was at the gate and on the way. Welll a driver showed up to drop off some people and he was about to leave when my mom called out to him. He wasn't scheduled to pick me up another driver was. He called in to his base and then he said he would be taking me to the airport. This driver was much more friendly that the previous one and more helpful also.

Also, I had to install the car seat in the limo both times. I think the drivers should be knowledable about that sort of thing or at least ask you how to and try to do it themselves (unless you want to).

I think next time I will try a different service and I will also speak up about carrying my bags.

My hunch is that the drivers aren't allowed to fasten in the child seat due to liability issues.

We used TTC a couple of weeks and was very happy. I was a bit concerned as well based on what I had been reading.
They were there when we got off escalator and carried all our bags.
They installed the car seat I used of theirs so I am not sure if you have your own if it makes a difference. I know last year we brought our own infant seat and I think my husband installed one while the driver was doing the other.
Definitely tip each way separately because you might not have same driver both ways.
I have had a perfect experience w/ them every time I have used them. One time our flight was about 3-4 hours late and I called from the plane to tell them and they already knew. Very good service!

Zephyr, sounds like a bummer experience!!
I think the towncar services usually try to be early rather than late. We use Happy Limo, and when our plane arrived early on our last Orlando trip, the driver was there already. I thought we might have to wait a bit, but I was pleased to see her as our luggage arrived really fast (a miracle for ATA) and we got to Port Canaveral earlier than I had planned.
They have always been there early to pick us up at the port and at WDW too. I am always nervous about being on time to get to the airport (especially now...haven't flown since 9/11, but we've going to Orlando for Thanksgiving), so I'm always happy when the driver is there early.

Thanks Lucky1. We had Ronnie last time and I was wondering if he is still there. I have not heard of your driver. I am wondering if he is new.
