I started the day out right when I switched cards and envelopes between DH and DD. You should have seen DD's face when she opened her card and read out loud, "To my HUSBAND?!?!". Oh well, everyone got a great laugh on me!

Happy Valentine's Day.. At our household we are sn**ed in for a while; still under a sn** emergency so home-made cards it is this year with a promise that we will go out and do something as a family this weekend (provided that the sn** stays away they are saying is coming back in on Friday)

In a house full of boys, we don't romantic. They make eew sounds at TV kissing. We will make some strawberry muffins later, but that will be extent of our celebrating.

Iced in here so we are having a romantic lunch and dinner for 6. Sounds wonderful doesn't it?! Well at least we didn't have to get up and go to school, I slept in til 9:30!!

Ha! I slept in til 10:00! DH stayed home today and took care of the oldest (by playing Halo with him) until me and the little guy woke up. My room window is completely iced over, looks like something out of a scifi movie.

Well, need to go catch up on that stuff.

HEY I caught up on the stuff.. .I figured it out.. if you sit the detergent by the baskets it seems to put a hold on the mating season! LOL

We have sunshine today..but we are still under a sn** emergency so we are going no where fast!!! We'll have a nice romantic dinner for 5 tonight... Yeah!! We'll have to do something special when we are out this weekend!

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I am also having a romantic dinner for 3! Yes, we have the little guy tonight, so we are taking him out for Chinese and then boyfriend has to go to work... Oh well, we will do something over the weekend! We still have the little guy, but we will try to get something in!

I just can't believe the weather out there!!!! It is incredible! None of the white stuff yet, but we have rain like you would not believe! I think later it will turn to the fluffy white stuff and turn to slush and ice overnight~ oh we will have fun tomorrow morning on the commute to work!

I can only dream of sn**days. It was too warm to wear my longsleeve Valentine shirt today. My students brought an overabundance of stuff- but we are going to eat it over a period of days instead of them gorging themselves. I actually have a church dinner that I am helping to cook as soon as school gets out and then Bible study for my middle school girls. Then after DH gets out of Praise Team rehearsal we will have some time together but I am getting tickets to the Pirates and Princess Party and DH got his Valentines tools a few weeks ago so we aren't exchanginmg anything.

The sun was shining but the clouds have come back out and it's sn**ing again. Nothing much planned other than dinner at home and I made dh a card. I'm enjoying the sn** emergency here - no kids at home anymore and a quiet day at home.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Horribly yucky day here weather-wise - can't even call it white stuff because it's gray, gross slush right now, along with plenty of ice to go with it. DH didn't have work today because there was no school so he was able to drive me to work and pick me up - one of the best Valentine's Day presents I could have asked for. My car would have been covered in a 3 inch coating of ice if it had been out in the parking lot for 12 hours! I hope things thaw a bit tomorrow so I can get some things done on my day off.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I hope it was a great day! We had a basketball game tonight, so I just got home. DH & I are going to go out to dinner Friday night to celebrate. In addition to Valentine's Day, we also get to celebrate that basketball season is officially DONE for another year!! Both of our teams lost in the first rounds of the tourney, so we're out! More time for swapping and scrapping now!
