Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be here, we are planning our Disney trip for October. The thing is my husband and I may be a little crazy, when we fly to Disney we will be taking our three kids, a 10 year old, an almost 3 year old, and a one month old!! I am pregnant and due with baby #3 in September but Frontier Airlines was running an awesome deal for $15 tickets out of Dulles so round trip for all of us was $120!! So we might be nuts but couldn't pass up that deal!

My husband has never been to Disney, and I was there once over 15 years ago for a week and did a day trip to Magic Kingdom about 6 years ago while visiting family in Tampa. So I have lots of research to do and I'm so happy to have found this board!

You will have so much fun... Family and Disney is meant to be.

Hi and welcome!!

Lots has changed since you were there last.

For example:
- You can now book dining (like character meals) at 180 days out. The odds are good that you can book it today. Not sure of the genders, but if either of your older kids is into princesses, look at Aukerhaus in Norway and dinner at 1900 Park Fare. If they're more into Mickey & Donald, then check out CHef Mickey's, Tusker House, or breakfast at Cape May. But make those Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) to get the meals you want.

- Fastpasses can now be booked 60 days ahead of time. It's now called FP+, and was rolled out in the fall. Give some thought to which rides best fit your family, and book them ahead of time. (Go to the Disney site and log on to My Disney Experience. That will get you started.)

- Take a look at the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert party. I think it's the most civilized way in the world to see the fireworks. You're in an enclosed plaza, so there's a bit of room for your kids to move around and still stay in your line of vision. And you have dessert, a cup of coffe, and a SEAT for the fireworks!! Tink flies right over your head!!!
I think October is booking now, so give it a try! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3144695

Happy planning, and welcome!
