We all just wanted to take a minute and wish all our new found friends here at the dis a happy holiday.

So from myself, MousseDude, my wife MousseGirl, Son ShocoMousse, Daughter PixieBecca.....and also my Brother DudeMousse, his wife PinPrincess, and two sons BeansDude and Squiggymoid we'd like to wish you all a happy and safe thanksgiving.

And, in the spirit of all the corny jokes that the npc's tell everyday, here is something equally as corny. (kids if you dont know the real song, ask your parents lol) Old and lamers, rejoice.

I also would like to take a minute to thank all of you for being such good friends. Over the years I have met many wonderful people from the DIS, some of you in person at DISmeets. When VMK came along I was so excited to be able to interact with all of you in a fun and new way.

Thank you Yavn for creating the game and including me in your circle of friends.


I also would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Turkey's of the world. For me, it is all about how much stuffing we can pack into you!!

I echo those thoughts expressed by my new VMK friends. Here's to hoping everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving with those they love.

And in Mike's spirit of Thanksgiving Humor, I give you a poem by an unknown author.

‘Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn’t sleep.
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned – the dark meat and white,
But I fought the temptation with all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation…..
The thought of a snack became infatuation….
So I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door,
And gazed at the fridge full of goodies galore.
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.

I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
‘Til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground!
I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky…..
With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie,
But I managed to yell as I soared past the trees…..

Happy Thanksgiving! I am missing my family in Rhode Island so much it hurts! Almost 13 years away and it I still never get used to being away for the holidays. They will come to NC for Christmas!

I did make my favorite thing for dinner...reservations! Yup we go out for Thanksgiving.

In my list of what I am thankful for that it is quite long I count my friends including all the virtual one!

I hope you all will enjoy your day not matter where you are or what you do!
