Jeff!!!

Jealous and sooooooooo happy for you guys. You are on the road to many of our dreams. :goodvibes

So thrilled for you-and just a LITTLE jealous (only 12 more years! only 12 more years!). A trip to DL is the best way to celebrate that I could imagine. Congratulations.

Wishing you many many happy retirement years!

Erika & Tom

When we do move to FL, the welcome mat will be out for our DIS friends. We plan on getting something with at least 3 BR and a pool!

Again, thanks to all. :thanks:

What did I do on my first day of retirement? Got on a plane for the left coast. Spent the night at a hotel near the airport. My body is still on east coast time so I'm up really early (4:00).

Today Val & I are checking in at the DL Hotel and hitting the parks. Going to meet some DIS'ers and just wander around a bit. Really looking forward to this.

Hmmm, seem to be having trouble constructing full sentences. Maybe more tired than I think. :scratchin:

Have a blast, Jeff and Val! I can't wait to hear all about it. :)

Enjoy your day at DL! Don't forget to write us up a trip report!

Can't wait to see you again on the cruise! Maybe you can make wine drinkers out of Brian and me!

HUGS! And have a magical day!

Jeff my friend......All the best to you and your lovely wife for the move and all future adventures.

Our retirement trip is winding down. Spending tonight at a hotel near the airport for an 8:45 flight tomorrow morning. Sad that its done so quickly, but we will be back in just a few months for the ABD trip.

Had a wonderful time while we were here. Did many attractions. Ate much food. Consumed even more wine (and other alcoholic beverages).

Its funny, we do more attractions here than we ever bother with at WDW. Probably because we've done the WDW ones so many times, and we know we will be back there so soon that we usually wander around the WDW parks. Here, we just want to try everything and compare it to the FL versions. We've found that many of the DL/CA attractions are better than their counterparts at WDW.

Each day seemed to get better and better. Met with other DIS'ers on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Possibly the high point of the entire trip was dinner last night at Napa Rose Chef's Counter.
