Just wanted to give a shout out to my fellow respiratory therapists that visit the DIS. This is our week to teach people more about our profession. I know we are often under appreciated but we are a valuable resource. I love my job! Hope you all have a great week.

I work at a large teaching hospital in the area. So if anyone is looking for a RT job in NC pm me and I will tell you which hospital and how to put in an application.
All hail the Respiratory Therapists! Here's another RN giving you props. My DH has stage 4 sarcoidosis w/pulmonary fibrosis so he's on a buttload of meds & inhalers. He uses oxygen at night, needs CPAP but can't tolerate it. The RTs that have helped him have been very professional and caring. DH gets really sick about twice a year and when he goes to the hospital he always goes straight to CCU. We are very grateful for the round the clock respiratory support. Ya'll never seem rushed and you always take the time to explain stuff. EVen though I'm an RN, I don't know much about adult pulmo. And even if I did, when he's sick all my nursing knowledge goes out the window. Thanks for taking care of ME as much as you're taking care of HIM.
