I guess I'll have to "suffer" through the Yankees game today as my teams (O's and Rays) don't play until tomorrow. And the worst part is, I'm going to WMA tomorrow but the hotel where I'm staying doesn't get MASN or MASN2 or WBAL, so unless the game is on ESPN, I'm outta luck. DD#2 says she'll record my games while I'm gone (a week), but it's just not the same. (sigh, pout, whine)

Yay! Opening Day is here! I can watch some games today and tomorrow, and then zone out until September.

I'm excited that it is opening day but disappointed that I will have to wait until tomorrow to see the O's play! And I'm super excited that I have tickets to the home opener!

So until tomorrow I'll root for the Nationals.

Ooh, I'm an AL gal, so I never focused on the Nats! Do they play today? They're DH's team, so I'll root for them.

We had a 41-ticket mini-season-ticket plan in 1997, the last year the O's were in the playoffs, and were sent overseas in Sept, so our DDs got to use our tix. Now we live in FL, so I guess we'll never see the O's in the playoffs...unless they play the Rays...hmmm...

I don't care who's playing , thanks to cable I can watch many teams.

I do miss going to Opening day. I use to live near Shea so I went to the Met openers for many years. I was 8 months pregnant with my 2nd DD for one of them.
I remember thinking how cool it was to go and miss high school.

DS12 & DS10 stated this morning, "Today Should Be A National Holiday!" DS12 also went on to state how he was going to have to run home from the bus stop to catch the start of the Cardinals game and DS10 was complaining that it wasn't fair that their Nana's birthday is on opening day, he wished his birthday was on opening day.
