Happy Memorial Day everyone - God Bless our troops past & present!!

Just wanted to write a quick Happy Memorial Day to everyone!! My dad is a veteran from the Korean War and my father in law is a veteran from the Vietnam War. We have nobody in the military at this time - but we think of those who are in the military daily.

God bless our veterans and God bless our men & women in the military today - thank you for defending our country - you are all heros!!!

Sorry to interupt, but can I ask what is Memorial day about? We don't have this holiday up here in Canada and I've never really known what it is for. Since you're mentioning military on this thread, is it kind of like Remembrance Day?
