My family and I just returned from the 5/11 Western cruise and I just wanted to pass along this suggestion.

Take a limo to and from the airport, hotel, whatever. Last year, we took the Disney Transfer bus even though we read on these boards how great a limo service was (my thanks to Barb - Castaway Cay). Anyway, we thought we would miss something if we took a limo instead of the bus.

Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with the bus, but it's a bus! Yes, it has a television on it and yes, they show you highlights of your Magical adventure (you can see these on the Disney website), but it's a bus with high seats (my kids didn't see a thing). Also, the driver while he did point out alligators in the swamp and tell us things about while we were passing by, it was difficult to hear him with all the children and very excited adults and by the time we understood clearly what he said, we missed what we were suppose to see.

Last week, my husband surprised us with a stretch limo from Happy Limo. It picked us up from our hotel and took us directly to the ship (even offered a free stop [my husband refused to do the grocery stop thing Barb suggested ..... Now, however, since we spent over a $100 on drinks and soda's I think he'll change his mind next year]). Anyway, back to the stretch....If you ask my 7 year old and 5 year old about the trip, they start their sentences off with the STRETCH LIMO....they had a blast. We get in, they take off their sneakers relax on the long couch, open cans of soda, turn on a video before you know it, we are at the cruise ship. No lines for the bus, no feeling like cattle, just a very relaxing ride to begin our magical adventure.

We really had a great time!!!! Hope you do too!!!

No, not yet. However, we always take our vacations in May so we are hoping to rebook for the week of May 10th.

How much is it for the limo from orlando airport to the port? there will be 4 adults and 1 child. thanks,

I am not sure what the cost is from the airport. Our trip started at the Rennaisance. The best thing to do is to go to the Happy Limo web site to request a quote. We got this address off of Barb's Castaway Club website: www.castawayclub.com.

I will say that I believe it will be cheaper for you to take Happy Limo than the Disney Transfer. Happy Limo charges per trip (not per person). My husband surprised us with the stretch limo (which I believe is about $40 more than their town car service). But since it was a surprise, he won't tell me for sure.

My husband did tell me that he called a couple "limo" services and Happy Limo beat the others in pricing.

Have a safe and Magical Trip!

I'm planning for our August trip and looking into various towncar rates. I thought some of you might be interested in these rates:

MCO to Yacht Club $45 (stretch limo add $45)
YC to Disney Cruise $90 ( " " " $70)
Disney Cruise to MCO $85 ( " " " $60)

Total $220 minus $10 multi trip discount = $210 (does not include 20% gratuity)
