Thanks for the info on Southern Elegance Limo. I think I will give them a try. I like the idea of a set fee and I get to determine the tip. I really don't care what they pay the airport, disney or their bookkeeper. I find it odd that most of the car services break out these fees as an add on charge as if they were optional when the quote is for a specific location like the Poly or the tip is required.

We used Happy Limo in January and they met us in the baggage claim with a sign (which, although a silly detail, it wasn't the professional sign they advertised but a hand-written one). We got a van (because there was five adults (three of which are women which added to the baggage). Our driver was very nice and friendly.

The return trip was the problem. We are extremely modest folks. My BIL had a FIT when they showed up (45 minutes late) in a limo to pick us up. We were aware that this could happen but it was still a shock. Of course our baggage no where near fit in the trunk and after filling both the front seat and part of the back, the five of us (sitting a lot closer than we would have liked considering we had just spent a week together (thank God for separate rooms)) headed back to MCO. The driver was not nearly as helpful and although the tip was supposed to be included, held out his hand to my step-dad. I just walked off because I didn't want to see it.

My sister and I are going back next year and I think we've both decided to try another company. Although anything is better than Mears!

You are most welcome. We do a lot of traveling and have A LOT of info on the transportation circuit. Once we found Southern Elegance we looked no more. Hope you have a lot of fun and congrates on your 40th! I know they will treat you right and you'll love them as we do.
