I know King Ludwigs Castle has a happy (half) hour but can anyone else tell me if anywhere has a happy hour for food or drinks?

Thanks

I thought ludwigs was 5:30 - 7:00 (PM) It was defiantly longer than half an hour last time we went around 6 months ago. We go at least once every trip, but it might have changed recently?

Not sure about any others we just use APs for 10% off food/drinks.

It's still 17.30 to 19.00 (or it was last Sunday when I went passed)

Happy hour in France is pretty much unknown outside of the "English/Irish/Australian" bars/pubs and they are all in Paris or very close

On food it's even rarer.

At Val d'Europe shopping centre you have the Hippo steakhouse restaurant that does 30% off main courses on orders taken from 14.30-19.30 Mon-Fri

:)

Thanks,

I thought Id read it was only half hour, I must be wrong.

How do priced at the Hippo Steakhouse compare with the Disney Park?

We are in the car so travelling a little would be OK.

Thanks

It's way cheaper to eat at the restaurants at Val d'Europe than in the parks/village/hotels

You have a good selection as well and they are open until 0.00 with last food orders been taken around 22.15-22.30

If you look on the Hippo site (it's in French but you have pictures and prices, they have an English menu at the restaurant)

If it doesn't load directely for you ,choose the Cartes and Formules tab and then carte - It will load the menu for you

At Val d'Europe you have

- 2 pizza/pasta places
- Chinese restaurant
- Fish and seafood restaurant
-Japanese restaurant
-Korean bbq type place
-Lebanese restaurant and a more casual outlet
-A Creperie
-Tapas type place
-Paul bakery which does salads, sandwiches and light meals plus cakes
-McDo
-Subway
-Casino cafeteria with lots of choice of full hot meals and lighter things, pasta, pizza choices, salad bar etc
-Brioche Dorée and La Croisanterie which do sandwiches and salades and baked goods
-Paradis des Fruits which is salads, light meals and lot's of fruit drinks (with or without alchool) among other things

All these are at the Sealife aquarium side

This gives you a bit of info about some of them and has links to websites again for some

hth and if you have any questions just ask

:)

Thanks

Just looking at Google earth, is the Val d'europe centre only 20 mins walk from the Disney Village? I had the impression if was further away?

Also is there a large supermarket like a E leclerc or something there?

Thanks

I'd of thought more like 30-40 minutes and I wouldn't like to be doing it in winter or in the dark

You have the RER that goes there from Disney. It's just one stop, takes less than 5 minutes and costs around 13€ for 10 tickets

The hypermarket is Auchan
