Happy Hour times?

This is great information......stuff like this is what makes it easier for me to mention to my husband its time to go back lol!!!! He's gonna LOVE THIS!

many of us regulars chose not to reply on a thread when it seems to begin confrontational.

i answer a lot of threads.
and i repeat myself many times and i'm sure that is not going to change anytime soon.

and i have had pms where i give info individually at times.

i stay away when posts start with a negative way to the group.

if you are going to tell someone to geez clam down, and if you use a smilie with it, i will assume this is how you joke around to get people's attention. not a problem.

seeing that expression stand as it is, can make a reader :confused3 and think, what's the problem here?

a lot is lost in the way a question or statement is worded. no one knows each other. we do lose a lot in interpretation when reading message boards. how things are presented here are 95% of the way we take it.

what a reader might be taken back by, others will not.
it is too hard to predict reactions by those that read the threads and want to help.

when i see the post going south and not letting up, i just don't post to it.
i'm not going to get involved in any thread that leads up to hard feelings. it is not worth for me. i rather help others by sharing what i have experienced and keep things factual.

i'm not picking on this thread to make my point, just the threads that have started up in the last couple of weeks have a different tone to what we have seen her in the past few years.

the UO forums are small. no expansion has been created for them.

i have requested to broaded what we could provide here.
the only thing that has been opened up was a chat room that stays in the universal forums. Something about Nothing. just a chat room but we do get drop ins for questions and there is ususally someone around that can help assist the poster.

depending on the time of day a new thread comes up, could determine how rapidly it gets replied to.

many work in the daytime and don't read the threads until later at night.
many that we did answer don't come back and tell us if our suggestions are correct or worked for them as they have for others.

without the feedback, it's hard to acknowledge best touring plans, etc.

i go to orlando yearly during late sept/ early oct.
i could not imagine not going to both parks, disney and universal.
i stay on site at both resorts for 15 days.

i try to make a side trip during the year and still do both parks.
been doing disney since 1973 and universal since 1992.
i feel comfortable in both parks and answering questions on either one.

 To Mac! I appreciate you and the other Homies here who give us all so much info!

I heard from Hard Rock Cafe Orlando and they "don't have any happy hour at this time, however we do have great deals on drinks that you can get in our souvenir glasses". :rolleyes1

you should get the All Club Access membership for extras at HRC.

i have mine and with it for the $37 membership, you get a free hrc pin, which i save, a $20 gift certificate and hr pouch bag you can wear on your back.

check it all out on line.

I was checking it out, it dropped to $25. Do they only send the initial $20 gift certificate and that's it, or do you periodically get coupons and deals in the mail?

WOW - thats worth it to me....I am off to check it out. Thanks!!!

oh snap, i missed the sale.
i renewed too early and didn't get the 25$ price...

well, still worth it.

once you are a member, you can gain entrance to the all access site.
it's info on all hrh and hrc stuff.

i have received emails on stuff before but i like to go to the site and check out all the pins.
i'm a collector....i don't know anyone else that does the hrc pins.

i wear them on my hat ......

i don't collect for the important ones, just the yearly ones and what looks pretty.

i thought when you sign up for all access you get all the things i did.
i mentioned them above.
the bag pack with straps to wear on your back, it has the logo on it,
the hrc pin, the card of membership, the $20 gc.

when you first sign up, i thought that was what went with the program.

i was a member before but let the membership expire. when i said i renewed, i should correct myself and say, i re joined and received a new membership number this time. i received everything 4 days after i placed my order.
i did not order on line, i used the phone number that was listed to join.

hth

Sorry for anyone that read that wrong. I wrote clam instead of calm for it to sound like a joke so it didn't sound so negative and I also put a :3dglasses at the end of my post so it showed that I wasn't being serious.

Even after I read my post it didn't sound right so I apologize if anyone on here was offended.:flower3:

Also I'm a newb to the disboards but not to Uni. I've been going to Uni since '92 and I've been on the vault for a certain amount of years but I'm really glad and appreciative of this forum and the people here!:)

hey homie, glad you came back. yea, i wasn't really offended but really concerned we were going to go south on the thread.

i'm not easily offended, i just don't post on the threads when i start to feel uneasy as if i stepped on someone's toes. i stay with the dis to help and make friends, not to create enemies or hard feelings.
no one wants to feel bad on a message board.

it was so nice of you to explain what you did. not many people do what you did, you are remarkable! that clears up any mis thoughts any reader might have taken in this thread.

now i have to say a big sorry for changing the direction of the thread.
it was to be of drinking during happy hours and well, one statement lead to another and i started talking about the all access card.
i'll make up for that by saying in my post, it must be 5:00 somewhere and time for a beer.........

there is a pilsner refillable for beer at uo.
tlinus posted about it in one of her trip reports.

i think she has pictures of it.

the alchemy bar had the best happy hours.
with parry hotter, it went down and i have not recovered from that loss yet..:sad1:

Hey Mac, I read the small print, everytime you spend $200 you get $20 back in gift certificates to spend at the store or cafe's. We drop that easy when in Orlando with all 5 of us, and more when DH's DD joins us. :thumbsup2

Hmmmm! I thought every hour at Universal, whether it be at either parks, Citywalk, or one of the hotels, was a happy hour! :cool1:

Are these happy hour specials still in place??? Thanks to all who respond!!!:thumbsup2
