Happy Holiday card from DVC!

You know, it's just my opinion, but...
I would never, ever be concerned about the cost of doing the little things such as this. One of the reasons I love Disney and DVC so much is BECAUSE of the little things and attention to detail they are known for.
I would relly hate to see these things discontinued because a few people don't want to spend an extra few bucks per year.

Again, just my opinion, but we purchased DVC knowing it was expensive. We never figured we would scrutinize every dime DVC spent.
I sure wouldn't like it much if all the special things went away, and it was just another timeshare. :smokin:

I agree 100%!:thumbsup2
Got my card today!

:santa: received ours the other day, it was very nice to receive the christmas card from DVC, after all its always nice to receive a christmas card from family and even DVC family!:santa:

When I joined in 1992, I got a Christmas card from DVC and was delighted. After a few years it was discontinued. When I get mine this year, I plan to be delighted again. :santa:

Received ours this week. We loved it! I agree that little things like this are worth it.

We got ours yesterday. Cute. But I think a computer sent me mine and I'm not so overjoyed by it. Not trying to belittle some exec's well intentions, but I am wondering if the cost of this could have put wireless Internet into the rooms at VB or HHI. I think probably so. At least the equipment. I'd be willing to pay for the service if need be.

I am sure someone is going to explain to me that this was paid for by the marketing budget and not from capital expenditures or maintenance budgets, but I still wonder about the value.

:rotfl2: The fine print on the back of the card was a real killer!!! After straining for a couple of minutes, all the fun kinda went away! They really should have saved the postage and fedex'd the planner!!:goodvibes

Holy.. shmoly. Guess I didn't even read the card. They probably paid someone big bucks to come up with the design. Didn't even occur to me. I think wireless in BOTH HHI & VB could have been done.

Oh well.... I'm sure there is some executive rule of thumb that says "you must spend at least 1% of your operating budget on marketing".

Hope you have a great Christmas... miss BWV Dreamin. :)

Loved the card and completey agree with Maistre Gracey-

It made me feel good about my DVC membership.

Hi there,

The unusual card arrived today in the North of Scotland, having travelled some 4000 plus miles.

We got it with only DH's name . This has happened ( other DVC mail) in the past. I find it so annoying especially since I'm the one who decided to join and I do everything for our trips. I'm going to give them a call and if they don't start changing this I'm going to give all their mail a big heave ho. :teacher: :snooty:

We received ours the other day. I thought it was very cute! We had a good time looking for all of the hidden items.
