Sounds awesome! How large was your tour group? Where did the tour start? I booked it and was given a confirmation number, but was told I need to pick up my actualy tickets the day of. I'm a bit confused.

I was told that too. You pick up your ticket at one of the ticket windows anytime the day of your tour. Ask the CM where the tour is meeting when you get your ticket. I got the impression that the start of the tour may change as needed.

Okay, now I had never even given these tours a second look but after hearing all the fun things and great reviews, I am definitely booking one of these tours next year!!

sooo...I'm the one smiling like a spaz in the striped shirt in the back there. Crazy to see someone else from the tour has posted pictures! We had such a lovely time, and Allison was fabulous!!!! (We're going again this year!)

where did the tour begin id been told it began in dca at tot? is that true? You said it was the last ride you went on so did you start in dl?

How long ahead do you book the tour? Do you pay upfront or day of? We have BCAA (part of AAA) that is recognized for the discounts....but I read that you show your membership card when you purchase tickets.

My husband and son want to go to a ball game one evening and I thought I could have a "date" with our daughter doing something fun like this. Problem is we don't know which evening the boys want to go to the game yet. Do the tours book up early.......we are 3 1/2 weeks out.

Is this tour offered every day or just on the days that the Halloween parties?
Also, what time of day does it actually start?

1. For me, the tour began in DL, over at the tour gardens. This is a small booth with some benches around it, to the left of City Hall.

2. You can book the tour up to 30 days prior to the day you want to take it.

3. Last year, I don't know if it was offered every single day, but it definitely was available more than just party days. I believe mine was on a wednesday.

4. You pay ahead of time, when you call to book.

5. Again i'm not entirely certain, but I believe there were two tour times each day, one around 3 and one around 5. I took the earlier one, and am glad I did. By the time we finished it was dark, and it had been getting difficult to see our guide and keep the group together.

K....it is killing me....what were the characters meeting about? Was this part of the tour?
