Happy Happy Renter Here

Many of you recall that in 2006, I rented points from an individual on this board. It was not a pleasant experience and in the end, while my reservation was successful, others that rented from this individual were not so lucky. Though the process proved to be very stressful, I was bitten by the bug and knew I had to go back. I learned numerous valuable lessons from the first experience and was questioning if I had the nerves to go thru the process again. I posted some of the reservations I was having looking for support from the very generous "family" of DISers that had guided me the first time. Several offered to assist me with my second experience. I responded to a very gracious DISer with the screen name DBBN.
Denis was the experienced, thoughtful, patient owner that I had hoped for. Knowing my history, he was more than generous with his terms and patiently walked me along the entire process. He supplied references, a contract, contact information and most importantly PROMPTLY answered any questions that I had. He sent brochures, planning literature and updated everything along the way as we amended the reservation by extending our stay, utilized Magic Express and added on the dining plan. He was a wealth of information and it is my pleasure to tell you all of my very positive experience.
As always my sincere thanks to this entire community that has always been so gracious and generous with their time. You are a most wonderful group of people and I thank you all......................heather

So glad to hear you had a better experience. We rented before we bought into DVC and worked with wonderful people as well. I hope the negative experiences are very few and far between.

I, too, have had several wonderful experiences with my renter. I just returned
from a wonderful week at OKW and everything was wonderful. I'm very grateful
to my renter and all the owners who are so gracious to share their points and
