is this worth the cost? We are taking a two and a half year old and it would increase our party price from $153 to $305. And I wanted to make sure it's worth the extra before booking it. I am only considering it for the preferred area for the parade and seated area for fireworks. I don't care all that much about the sweets

I would not personally pay that price on top of the MNSSP ticket. The dessert party I am sure is nice but we have never not had a good view of the parade. You already paid for less people in the park. Why pay twice. Plus plenty of candy give aways for you and your kid! How many in your party?

I personally don't think it's worth it. Though I haven't been to the Halloween party for a while, we did the Christmas party two years ago and had absolutely no problem finding great spots for the parade and fireworks, without waiting for hours. We stood in front of the candy shop on Main St. Not terribly close to the castle, but it was virtually empty and we simply exited after the fireworks without fighting the crowds.
