I want to wish everyone who celebrates Halloween a Happy One!
I know in the last two months, our world has changed and I don't want to sound preachy but I am glad to see that we can still rejoice in simple celebration and love of life.
This is a little poem I wrote to a friend but I thought I would share it with all my Dis friends as well.......
Well my pumpkin lights are hung,,
In the front window pane,
the tape player is already singing
a howling refrain,
the witch,skeleton and bats
fly by the door,
In hopes that 'little kiddies'
come screaming for more...
But my pumpkin is plastic,
no real squelchy guts for me....
After years of being a nurse,
I have already done that--you see!!!
Hope its a fun and safe Halloween for all!!!! BOO!
