Today, I finally pulled the trigger on some 3-day discovery days tickets (for DD & I)! I only did it because I want to take DD4 to see Anna & Elsa at Epcot and I FINALLY scored an early breakfast reservation for Akershaus for a few days before my tickets expire, SCORE! :cool1:

So, there I was with a plan for a one day girls trip to Epcot in June planned and two other days worth of tickets...but not for long! I called my cousin-in-law who has a 2DD and a Weekday WDW Pass and she was planning a trip Thursday, like in 3 DAYS!! Woohoo!:cheer2:

We debated Epcot's garden festival or AK since it's the only park I've NEVER visited. We landed on AK and made lunch ADR at Rainforest Cafe. I think DD is MORE excited for lunch than anything else right now. princess:

I can't tell you how blessed I feel that the stars aligned, the Disney Gods smiled and I'm getting my Disney fix in a few days!!!pixiedust:

Anything I should know about taking a 2 & 4yr old to AK? Do they have different hours than the other parks? How's the parade?

TIA!

WOOHOO! I'm happy dancing for you! :cool1: One thing I would say about AK (to be honest, it's my least favorite park, but if you love animals you will have a blast!) is to make sure you get there early or do the safari first! The animals are so much more active in the morning and it makes for a MUCH better experience than in the afternoon when they are all napping! Also, if you are wanting to ride EE and the line is long, the single rider line is almost always SUPER short (as in only a few people in it). Happy planning! pixiedust:

I agree with this. The parade is typically at 3:45
