I had a lovely day
and received some great presents ~ a pin trading bag, my own set of POTC (as Samantha will be taking hers off to uni with her), Series 1 & 2 of Outnumbered, some Arribas Bros earrings and a necklace from WDW.
We went out for lunch to a Gurkha restaurant where the food is always delicious then took the dogs for a long hike in the forest to walk it all off
most of our holiday plans are done during these walks 
and this is where I got my best present of all ...........
................. a new ticker!!
Next year is a big one for me, my 50th, and whilst DH was away for work last week
I booked tickets for the Wizard of Oz for on our wedding anniversary which is two days before my birthday. I had sort of assumed we might stay on in London until my birthday until yesterday when DH asked where I would most like to be on my birthday. Well, there's lots of places I would love to be but seeing as middle DD will be in the middle of her GCSE's I knew it would have to be somewhere realistic so was expecting him to say we'd stay on in London .......... well, we're going to take the Eurostar across and it's going to be DLRP!! 
I am soooooooo excited
and have the best DH ever!!
