Mem’ries light the corners of my mind.
Misty water color mem’ries of the way we were.
Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind.
Smiles we gave to one another for the way we were.
Can it be that it was all so simple then,
Or has time rewritten ev’ry line?
If we had the chance to do it all again,
tell me, Would we? Could we?
Mem’ries may be beautiful, and
yet,What’s too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget.
So it’s the laughter we will remember,
When ever we remember the way we were,

Is the senior candidate trying to dodge the attention he is getting? Maybe he's trying to hide more than just his birthday. Off shore tax shelter? Secret love child (circa 1950) in the next town? If he can't stand the heat....best be getting outta the bedroom, er, I mean kitchen.

Well... if you want to get technical, it is Him not him...
but that is about the extent of it... it's kind of weird.... for all my work in my church ~ I am not a very religious person and have never read the bible!
To me, it's all about my church family... So, sorry Wally... I can't hijack your thread and get all evangelical on your @$$....
