Loved the segment on the podcast about the 40th anniversary of the Hoop Dee Doo Review. You mentioned the Christmas version of the show and I have to share a wonderful memory I have from December 2008. My husband, 3 yo son, 6 yo son and myself went to the Hoop Dee Doo with my parents and brother. At the time, my 6 yo loved the Christmas song "Home for the Holidays". You know, the one that talks about "I met a man who lives in TN and he was heading for, PA and some homemade pumpkin pie." Well, two of the performers who usually come out and sit in the center of the seating area to sing a love song, came out and song "Home for the Holidays" right next to our table. It was a wonderful moment I will never forget. Both my parents have passed since this trip. They are the reason I have this love for Disney and take my family every year. My parents starting taking us to the Hoop Dee Doo in the 70's when it was included with your package. They actually gave you money back when you checked out if you didn't use the tickets! Thanks for reminding me of these memories!
