just wanted to say a happy 50th birthday to my mom! we went to the hard rock cafe in boston for her bday and had a great time! my mom posts on the boards too, you probably know her if you post on the disney cruise line board, her username is cathie. everyone wish her a happy birthday!!

Thanks for the B-Day wishes...my nephew Matt & I (he turns 13 on Aug. 26th) had a special birthday cake from our servers on our recent Disney Magic Cruise. Guess it's just a number..heard Verandah Man turns 50 next year! Cathie

Why 50 is a good year

We haven't met yet - but I will be posting on the cruise boards soon - my DD encouraged myself and DH to join them. Not till 2005 - but I'll be wanting to learn the "ins and outs" of a DIS cruise

Just want to say thanks again to all of my Disboard Family for the birthday wishes! Just when I was bumming about turning the Big 50 , I heard about the tragedy in the Ritter family with the loss of Amanda, age 26 & her daughter Emma, age 4 in an early morning fire in Pennsylvania this past Sunday. Please keep the only survivor of the fire "Baby Sophie" & her dad, who was at work at the time of the fire, in your prayers. Life is so precious..treasure each day! God's blesssing to everybody!!!
