Happy(?) 25th Anniversary(long)

Hi,I haven't posted much,but need to get this out, so bear with me.Tomorrow is my 25th anniversary,however we sold our house in November,afeter living there for 17 1/2 years with my MIL,as well as our two son's who are 22 and 20 now. When it came time to figure out where to live,we discussed it,but one weekend my husband came home and told me he rented a camp-up in the sticks and if I wanted to live there I could as long as I followed "the rules".He didn't want our dogs,and I never asked what the other "rules" were-at that point it didn't matter-I didn't ask and I really didn't care.I had some money put away from my Dad's estate and I figured if I didn't do it now-I never would.So I bought my own place,took the dogs,and now I'm on my own.I've seen him briefly over the last few months.My 22 y.o. lives within a 1/4 mile of me,and my 20 y.o. is in college at RIT-but "lives" with me when he's home-The boys are happy with the arrangement-life is much more peaceful for all of us-one hears from Dad on occasion(the local one) The RIT one hasn't heard from his Dad since Christmas.I feel really bad for him,he had no problem's with his Dad at all,a good boy,ya know?I guess this is all bothering me now cause of the anniversary,and while I don't want him back-it's just kind of sad.DS2 and I are going out to dinner tomorrow for my anniversary with some friends and my Mom and Stepdad.I figure I made it to our 25th even if he didn't...LOL.I think DH is in Canada at the moment..not relly sure,but he's spent the last 7 anniversaries up there snowmobiling,so why should this year be different?Thanks for listening!!
