Where would you say is the best spot to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks from the main street area?

I currently have the pre-fireworks dessert party booked but with the after party coming into play now I feel like I might as well save the money and get the best view I can and just grab some ice cream from main street to sit and wait with.

My DH and I are only going into MK that night to watch the fireworks and maybe use a couple of FPs, so if you were willing to wait about an hour where would you stand?

TIA!

Below is a rough estimate of the Happily Ever After Fireworks viewing spots
on the south side of Cinderella Castle.
The projections presented on the castle facade can only be seen from this front side.

You also want to be able to see the spectacular show that is projected on the front of the Castle,
"Once Upon a Time," which is scheduled within an hour before and/or after the fireworks.

We like the Hub if you can find an area that isn't reserved.
Otherwise on Main Street near Caseys and the Plaza.
The laser maapping of the castle is amazing, so you want to be in an area to be able to see that well.

I'm following this thread since you read my mind! I am strongly considering cancelling our pre-firework desert party after reading the review from Josh @ Easywdw about the new post-fireworks party, so I've been trying to google about the recommended spots this morning but have not had much luck.

The post party sounds better in terms of getting a spot but it seems to now require camping out quite a while before the fireworks start and also my poor dad will not be wanting deserts at that time of night, he'll just be focused on bed the second the fireworks have finished!

We've watched three times from the hub, very near the castle, kind of front-and-center. Absolutely love it. Don't need to get there super early - we showed up about 30 minutes prior and sat with everyone else (until they tell you stand up)

Thank you everyone!

I agree, I just feel like my money for the dessert party is better spent elsewhere especially if I have to camp out anyway
