Hi everyone...just got back from 5 nights at the World, but HAD to post a review on this resort. There were 5 of us on 12/29/10 at 7pm. We arrived 30min prior and were able to checkin 15min prior. We were seated immediately after that. Our server was David and he did a great job. Unfortunately, he was one of the few positives that evening. The food, for the most part, was barely okay, although some was downright inedible. The beef in the oriental stir fry was full of gristle. The salmon, that I did not try, smelled a little too fishy for me. Both times that I went to the buffet, all that was left on the pork or prime rib were the hard ends of the meat. Even the kid's buffet food was just sub-par. The pizza, which is normally pretty good (for Disney) was strange tasting. The desserts, except for the ice cream, were the worst. The apple crisp had pieces of something that were so hard, they felt like rocks in my mouth. The ice cream, while easily the best, did not have any sauces to add to it, just gummy bears or M&Ms. Probably the best thing about this dinner had to be the characters. Cinderella was beautiful and very sweet. Drizella was fabulous. Very much into character and very amusing. Anastasia seemed to be a little ill-at-ease, but I am sure she will improve with time. Both the prince and Lady Tremaine were fine, if a little reserved. All in all, with this dinner costing close to $200, I was VERY disappointed. I doubt we will return ANY time soon. We dined at Il Mulino and Kona on this trip and neither of them cost anywhere near this dinner - and they were both very good. Hope this helps for those of you considering this restaurant. :goodvibes

It's at the GF. It is held in 1900 Park Fare. During the morning, they call it the Supercalifragilistic breakfast. During the evening, it is Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at Park Fare.

we had two awful meals at 1900PF in 2007 - never had a worse meal anywhere in the meal and will never return to 1900PF again.

Well, just for perspective in case someone has their heart set on this dinner, we went (me, my mom and 6 year old twin girls) on Dec 20. Dinner was pretty good. The salmon was delicious as were the salads and side veggies. The prime rib was good, not great.

The kids were too excited to eat much, but they did tuck into the mac and cheese and broccolini. Desserts were a variety of minis and we liked them--we skipped the ice cream and something baked in a big tray.

BUT--we were really there for the characters and they did not disappoint. They were all good. Some highlights: Prince Charming had my daughter totally star-struck--I have the cutest picture of him giving her a kiss on the cheek. One of my gals had a shoe fall off when she got up to meet Lady Tremaine who didn't miss a beat when she said "you really need to keep your shoes on. Bad things happen when girls lose their shoes." My mom and I laughed so hard--the kids didn't get it until we explained it later. Then they couldn't stop talking about it.

We were all done and hadn't seen Cinderella yet. I let our server know and she was there in just a few minutes.

We had a great time, so if you think those characters will appeal to your family, I say go--the food might be just fine!

So, I say go

I'm glad I read this...have reservations in February but now I will cancel. There are so many great restaurants in disney, i'd hate to waste a night at a bad one.
