I'll be looking for pics in the Steamboat Willie and Cinderella collages. Does anyone know whether these are displayed high up? Will I be able to find the pics or will I need binoculars?
Hello! For the Steamboat Willie collage unless your pictures are at eye-level you wil definitely need binoculars. I used my camcorder to zoom into the area where my picture was located and after 15-20 minutes I finally found it!! Everything was starting to look like a blurr by then but I was happy to see myself, you'll notice that it is a HUGE collage.
If I'm not mistaken the Cinderella collage is by Small World along with other Princess collages (Pocahontas, Ariel, Beauty & the Beast) and these are the best!! They're at eye level and the pictures are a very decent size and easy to look at.
Have fun looking for your pics!!!
Thanks for the info, Lucky 101! Was the Steamboat Willie collage so huge that you couldn't get the whole thing on your camcorder at once? How do you get all the other people out of the way if you have to step back so much? I have to look for a few pics in that collage...maybe I'll be spending a good part of the day there. Do you know whether they sell pics of each collage?
Is this true? I read that in one of the Disney newsletters, but not Disney owned. What a bummer! Was really looking forward to seeing the MSEP again since it was discontinued in WDW.
We also have some in Steamboat Willie and Cinderella! We had several in Steamboat and never did find them! I think that is going to be a fun game each time we go to try and find them! Steamboat is a huge black & white collage on the side of a building, floor to ceiling, so it is hard to find pics! Also, as previously stated, the pictures in Steamboat are smaller than in other collages. I think the size and the fact that they're black and white make it harder to find them. You can probably stand back and get the collage in a video camera, but I'm still not sure you'd be able to zoom in on the pictures well. Also, good luck getting people out of the way! Maybe in a non-busy season. Have fun finding your pictures!

Both of these shows will not be showing in October. I think they're down for awhile, but I'm not sure how long. Sorry! At least you'll be prepared! There are lots of other great shows and parades, though.
I was able to get the whole Steamboat Willie picture in my picture, but I did have to stand back quite a few feet. It's huge!! It's probably the neatest one though. The small pictures make up larger pictures of the cast members, then those pictures make up the Steamboat Willie.
How do you find out where your picture is posted - or if it is posted? We changed email addresses at the time they would have sent us the notification, so I don't know if our pic's made it or not.

There is a "computer" that you go to and put in your email address and it tells you if your pics were used and, if they were, where they are. There is one near the Steamboat Willie picture in the front of the park. Any Cast Member can direct you.
Hey Superdisneyfan!
You'll have a great time looking for your pics. I've made it a personal challenge to look for my pictures in the Steamboat collage every time I visit DL. As someone mentioned before, the Steamboat collage is actually 2 collages in 1. First our happiest faces make up the images of cast members, and then the castmember images make up the image of Steamboat Willie. Let me tell you when I found mine...trust me it's tough, I was ecstatic!! I have a few pics though that I haven't found since they're way at the top and I'd need a ladder to get up there!!! Unfortunately they don't sell smaller versions of the collages, but I think it would be a good idea, that way we could all have a our little contribution to Disney at home.
Have a great time on your trip!
I just got an email about my pictures and here is the info they put on the email for finding your pictures:
For a complete list of your photos and their collage locations, log on to a Photo Collage Kiosk in Disneyland® park or Disneys California Adventure® park. You can find the Photo Collage Kiosks across from the Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. and next to the Steamboat Willie collage in Disneyland® park. In Disneys California Adventure® park the Photo Collage Kiosk is adjacent to the Information Center near the Guest Relations Booth.
I didn't get an email for my first ones until after I had returned from a trip to DL, and had already checked there. At that time I wondered about the pics, checked, and was happily surpised to find my pics were used. Sometime after we returned home, I got my email. It doesn't hurt to check when you're there-it will tell you "sorry" or it will tell you where your pictures are.
