Happiest Celebration On Earth - Over?

We were just in Disney in Feburary and were there for Happiest Celebration On Earth and were able to see Cinderellabration.

We'll be back this coming December and I just recently heard from one of my co-workers that the gold decorations on Cinderella's castle will be removed and there will be no more Cinderellabration!! I know that a lot of people didn't like the gold additions on the castle, but I thought the it made the castle look so pretty and it really made it stand out.

Do you know if they will be replacing the show with anything new?

Yes, the celebration ends Sept. 30th. The decorations are in the process of being removed. Cinderellabration ends on Sept. 16th (next Sat.). And the new show is supposed to start Sept. 30th.

I am pretty sure that they haven't disclosed plans for another decorated castle look, though many people think there will be one for the Year of a Million Dreams. I agree with you about the gold decorations for the Happiest Celebration on Earth. They make the castle look prettier than it ever has, and I include the mirror in my statement of opinion. The old castle seems kind of plain now, and I thought that the tower spirals and Peter and Wendy were the nicest touches.
I did think it would be cool to theme Wishes around "Mirror, Mirror on the wall," but they didn't. That's what I guessed when I first saw the castle on May 5, 2005.

Mickey1122 - I agree, the "plain castle" just seems like its going to be so blah compared to how pretty it was with all the gold detailing. I loved looking for all the characters and I liked the mirror part too!

Just a little side note for those going to the MK from now to about December. The pathway from Sir Mickeys down to the bottom near Storytime Garden will be closed off for awhile.
