We are staying at the Hampton Inn Orlando/Lake Buena Vista our first and last night. Is this an ok hotel?

If this is the Hampton Inn on Palm Parkway then it's a really nice place. Breakfast choices change every day and the food is good. It's clean, quiet, the staff is really friendly and it's one of our favorite places to stay in Lake Buena Vista. The pool isn't anything great and it's a bit small but it wasn't crowded when we used it. We always have a nice time there.

Yes that is the one we are staying at on our first and last night at Disney. How far is it from DTD?

It's not that far from DTD at all. Take Palm Parkway to 535. Make a left on 535 and about a block or two down on the right is the entrance to the Disney area. A few blocks down the road and you're at DTD.

I have stayed there - had a very nice stay! I thought it was an above average Hampton Inn. Not too far from DTD (5-10 minutes) - also not to far from Winn Dixie on 436 and Lake Rd. - I had a rental car (5 minutes).:thumbsup2

I have stayed here twice and recommended to my sister and brother-in-law for the 1st and last nights of their stay in June. It is VERY clean and has a great breakfast. Good choice!:thumbsup2

I have stayed here a number of times over several years. From a nights stay Before checking in at disney resort to a week. This hotel is great and I am extremely picky. The staff goes above and beyond to help and are always asking if everything is ok. We were just there in March for a Busch gardens trip. We drove an hour to Tampa from this hotel cause I was afraid to stay anywhere else.

Hi

I'm staying there in July. I looked it up on Google Earth and I'm worried about the size of the parking space.
Did you have travel to find a parking space at night?

We have stayed during busy times and maybe you won't get a spot in the front but we never had a problem with parking.

Sorry... another question... do you remember from what time is breakfast served?

I was going to mention btreakfast in my last post. It's from 6 a.m.-10a.m. If you are going during a busy time of year that migh take some planning. There are a lot of tables however, I find the 8ish hour is the busiest. I actually will be heading there for a week tomorrow :yay:. They also have coffee and tea available all day.
