Hi,
I've alwaysss done my brisket with Lipton Onion soup and Ketchup (mixed with water)...sounds strange, yes, but delicious. I'd like to try a more traditional brisket this holiday season with a "brown" gravy. Any recipe ideas???
thanks

Here's a brisket recipe from one of my favorite food blogs that I've been wanting to try. Personally, I would leave out the lemon juice, but other than that, it looks so good! One of the readers mentioned that one of his Jewish friends had a brisket recipe that was similar to this one. I'm not sure how traditional this is but, hopefully, it's close to what you're looking for. Here's the link.
