Hanukkah at WDW

We're headed to BRV for the first week of December, and that overlaps with the start of Hanukkah. I know there are a few little things at EPCOT but my question is more about resort observations. My assumption is that having an actual menorah in our room with candles that must be allowed to burn down & can't be blown out is a no-no. Is that right? What have other Jewish families done to observe? My thinking right now is that we bring my daughter's toddler-era stuffed menorah with velcro flames lol. I'd love to bring a real menorah but the last thing I want to do is set off a smoke alarm or break the rules that apply to all of us!

That's what was done in my office a few years ago because no open flames were allowed. We just left it plugged in for the entire time (asked building management/janitorial staff not to unplug at night).

We have a cute little battery powered Menorah that is just the right size for traveling. We got it at Bed, Bath and Beyond but I bet someone else carries them. We stay at the BCV and they do put a menorah behind front desk with the correct amount of days lit but there is not a lighting ceremony. I did see a news release of some Hanukkah items -a light up loungefly bag and a few other things that were cute but there isn't much.

We just added candle nightly and had it sitting in the window. No Fire.
